I’ve always wanted to give back to my community, so if I have a chance to be a role model in my community, I’ll take it.
Everything I’ve done was the best of my ability. My family were great, they passed on the knowledge and history of Hopevale. There are so many old pioneers in my family.
I believe that everything I do is in the best interests of my community. My old people did it before me and I’ll do it until I die.
I want young people to be proud of who they are and I want kids to have the same attitude. I want the community to be more positive.
Too many people label Hope Vale as violent, dirty and disrespectful. There are so many good things in my community. These kids need to know their own talents and recognise the skills they have and be proud of who they are.
